Sing, Sing, Sing

Sunday, February 21st, Veronica and I went to the Chris Tomlin concert with another couple from church. It was awesome!! (He's kinda short) He rocked the Municipal Auditorium. The floor was shaking from the bass. When I came in, I was expecting a more mellow type of concert because a lot of his songs on the radio sound more acoustic. I was definitely mistaken. The band sounded great but the drums sounded awesome! The energy in there was incredible. I was blown away with the performance and the music. The only bad part about it was we didn't bring any cameras. We had to resort to the blackberry cameras so you'll have to excuse the poor quality of these images. To this day, I have the song "Sing, Sing, Sing" in my head.

Here is a player I found on his website. You have to hear the drums on sing sing sing. Its my favorite song on the album.

  1. It was awesome... I haven't been to that many concerts in my life.. My first concert was "The Jetts"... (it was in the 80's or early 90's... Yikes!!).. however more recently I just went to see Madonna in Houston... You are probably wondering why or how this is relevant... Well.. The energy in Municipal with about 4,000 - 5,000 people far outweighed the what I felt in Houston where I'm sure Madonna had 30,000 people... it was an amazing feeling. Feeling the ground shake was neato!! Everyone was singing and enjoying the night together. We had a great time!!!
